Prof. Praveen Arany (BDS, MDS, MMsc, PHD, University at Buffalo, NY) is President of WALT (World Association for Photobiomodulation/PBM). In this interview he talks to Prof. med. Dent Tilman Fritsch about the state of photobiological research in dentistry. Praveen's research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of PBM and its clinical translations. He is an internationally recognized expert in PBM and is on the editorial board of 7 scientific journals including Photomedicine and Photobiomodulation. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed publications, holds 4 patents and has won several awards including the NCI Young Investigators Award, the WHS Young Investigators Award, the ASLMS Horace Forumoto Prize and the ALD's Eugene Siedner Prize.
